Tibor Gonczol (Production Engineer)
After his graduation from the Slovak Technical University Tibor worked some years for the State Institute of Metrology, then he joined Silcotec where he worked for two years as a production engineer of cable harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies. In order to try and gain varied work experience, Tibor moved to a multinational organization as an Industrial Engineer that was operating in the field of high volume production of cell phone components. During his time with this company he had the opportunity to visit the factory in China where he developed himself in the principles of Lean Manufacturing and was also exposed to working with different cultures.
After gaining valuable experience abroad, he re-joined Silcotec again in 2009 as a production engineer and is currently utilizing his skills attained at his former workplace and in China.
Hedviga Kubicseková (Purchaser)
A former graduate of the local Technical Secondary School, Hedviga spent some years in England for various jobs to improve her English. Upon her return to Slovakia she joined a local company doing business with foreign suppliers where she was working for some 18 years as a customer services representative and as a buyer of raw material. Hedviga joined Silcotec this year in January to support the current purchasing team in our Slovakian operation.
