Silcotec Slovakia achieve 14001 Environmental Standard

During April 2008 Silcotec Slovakia achieved the 14001 Environmental standard. The company had been preparing for this audit from six months earlier and everyone worked extremely hard to achieve this goal.
Tibor Barath the Technical/Quality Manager who was responsible for the coordination of the necessary activities said " This standard is relatively new to Slovakia and there is a lot of legislation involved - there was a steep learning curve but the involvement and company wide participitation of everone ensured that we were successful in achieving our goal"
