As part of Tibor Baraths (Technical/Quality Manager Silcotec Europe) MBA studies a group of fellow students conducted a study into Silcotec Europes operating environment.
The group of MBA students and senior management of Silcotec cooperated within an international consultancy project (ICP) whereby the MBA group undertook an analysis of Silcotec Europe’s business development strategy. The outcome of the project was to provide recommendations for possible future strategies for Silcotec in order to ensure long term competitiveness within the industry.
The ICP project consisted of a number of team meetings in Silcotec and final presentation with the presence of the MBA tutor and senior management of Silcotec. The final presentation by the team took place on 12-03-09.
Stephen Bullock, Managing Director of Silcotec Europe commented that the project provided an opportunity to have someone outside the company take a fresh look at how we do business – he further commented that he was very impressed with the contributions made by the team.
