In order to become more competitive and to meet the needs of its customers Silcotec have announced the decision to close the Ireland facility and focus on developing the Slovakia facility for future growth.
It is the intention to transfer all the products in the Ireland facility to the Slovakia facility over the coming twelve months at which time there will only be a Support facility in Ireland.
Stephen Bullock the MD of Silcotec Europe said " It is with regret that this decision has to be made but unfortunately it is a necessary decision to maintain the strength of the company for the long term"
